I’m a wife, a mom, and someone who loves Jesus.
A Life Revised is a Christian testimony blog where I share real stories about faith, healing, and learning to trust God, especially when life doesn’t go as expected. It’s honest, not perfect. But it’s always pressing toward Jesus, and inviting others to do the same.
This blog is built on the power of testimony. One of the scriptures that anchors this space is Revelation 12:11:
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”
Testimonies matter, and they point to the goodness of God. So wherever you are in your story, I hope what you read here encourages your faith in Jesus.
My Story
I’ve been married for ten years to my wonderful husband, London, who’s a constant source of wisdom and support. We’re raising one amazing son together, and every day as a wife and mother continues to shape my walk with the Lord.
But my story didn’t start smoothly. I was in foster care by the age of 5 and was later adopted by the same woman who fostered me. It was my adoptive mother, Simonia, who first introduced me to Jesus. She loved me and my brother like we were her own. When she passed, her beautiful daughter adopted us, and to this day, they have remained a constant source of love and support. I’ve also been blessed to maintain relationships with several members of my biological family. God made sure I was never without love.
I’ve walked through trauma, loss, and moments that could’ve broken me, but Jesus never left. He carried me through every season. That truth is the foundation of this blog.
A Life Revised was born from a desire to tell the story about what God has done in my life, and to create space for others to do the same. This blog is for the ones who know Him, and the ones still searching. For the weary, the curious, the hopeful, and the faith-filled.
We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). I believe in the power of stories, and I believe they can change lives.
Here, you’ll hear from me and other brothers and sisters in Christ. We’ll share testimonies, reflections, and encouragement that always point back to Jesus.
